LWMA Restores Two Fountains and Adds New Water Feature in Roche Caiman

VICTORIA, Seychelles — In a major environmental and civic boost, the Landscape and Water Management Agency (LWMA) has successfully restored two longstanding fountains and introduced a brand-new water feature at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex. The work forms part of LWMA’s ongoing efforts to revive public spaces and enhance the visual appeal of public areas across Seychelles.
Officials at LWMA said the restored fountains are an important part of the country’s urban heritage, and that the agency is committed to maintaining them for the enjoyment of the public. The new water feature at the Roche Caiman Sports Complex, which is a popular venue for sporting events and community gatherings, is expected to add to the vibrancy of the area and to provide a more welcoming environment for visitors and users of the facility.
LWMA said the initiative is part of a wider programme to upgrade public spaces in 2025, with more projects planned in the coming months. The agency called on members of the public to take pride in these restored assets and to play their part in keeping them clean and well-maintained for future generations.
