Elles Foundation Hosts Christmas ‘Stay and Play’ Party for Teenage Mothers

VICTORIA, Seychelles — Elles Foundation brought the spirit of Christmas to life on Friday morning as it hosted its annual ‘Stay and Play’ Christmas party at the National Library. The warm and lively event welcomed around 20 teenage mothers and their children, offering them a joyful and relaxing space to celebrate the season together.

The foundation said the gathering reflects its continuing commitment to supporting young mothers across the islands, providing them with opportunities to share experiences, build friendships, and access information about parenting and personal development. Activities included games, music, and a shared festive meal, with gifts distributed to the children.

Elles Foundation noted that events like ‘Stay and Play’ help address the social isolation that teenage mothers often face, and form part of a broader programme of outreach work throughout the year. The foundation thanked its partners and volunteers for their continued support in making the annual event possible.
