Minister Barry Faure advocates for global cooperation at Raisina Dialogue 2026
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Mr. Barry Faure, is currently representing the nation at the 11th edition of the Raisina Dialogue. As India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, the event serves as a critical platform for addressing the most pressing shifts in the global order.
This year’s conference is centered around the theme “Saṁskāra: Assertion, Accommodation, Advancement”. This theme highlights a civilizational approach to progress, emphasizing how societies can:
- Assert their fundamental truths and identities.
- Accommodate complex global contradictions.
- Advance through a process of continuous refinement and shared meaning.
The inaugural ceremony featured a keynote address by President Alexander Stubb of Finland, who served as the Chief Guest and delivered a comprehensive intervention on global affairs.
