Tourism Employees Honoured at Lospitalite Awards Ceremony
VICTORIA, Seychelles — The second half of the fourth Lospitalité Lafyerte Sesel awards ceremony, held on Saturday afternoon at the Savoy Resort and Spa, focused on the Tourism Employee Category, celebrating individuals whose dedication and excellence set them apart as role models within the industry. These individuals embody professionalism, warmth, and passion in the very quality that defines Seychellois hospitality.
All nominated employees were assessed based on attitude and commitment, interpersonal skills, work performance, personal traits, and service excellence. The winners received a trophy, a tourism department goodie bag, and a certificate, along with prizes from key sponsors including Air Seychelles, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Universal Resorts, Mama Mia, Skychef, and Sacos. Minister for Tourism and Culture Amanda Bernstein presented the prizes to the winners.
Norman Renaud of Mason’s Travel won the Large Tour Operator category, with Trevor Sabadin of Mason’s Travel and Nigel Hetimier of Mason’s Travel completing the top three. Olivia Pillay of Silverpearl Tours and Travel won the Small Tour Operator category, followed by Emile Louise and Sheryl Payet, both of the same company. Arnel Samson of Constance Ephelia Resort won the Large Hotel category, with Jude Zarine of Constance Lemuria Resort and Michael Jean-Louis of Eden Bleu Hotel taking the other top places. In the Medium Hotel category, Kareen Rita Bristol of Oasis Hotel Restaurant and Spa was named the winner, while Philomena Dupres of Carana Beach Hotel and Hillary Camouna of L’Escale Resort Marina and Spa took second and third.
