Seypec Donates Modern Aviation Fuel Storage Tanks to Seychelles Defence Forces
VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Seychelles Petroleum Company (Seypec) has donated two modern aviation fuel storage tanks to the Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF), strengthening the country’s domestic aviation and defence infrastructure. The handover ceremony took place recently at the SDF aviation base.
The donation is part of Seypec’s ongoing commitment to supporting national security and public institutions. The two tanks will provide the SDF with a reliable and efficient fuel storage capability, enhancing the operational readiness of its aviation assets. Seypec said the tanks meet the latest international safety and storage standards, and that their installation would reduce logistical constraints previously faced by the SDF’s aviation division.
A senior Seypec official noted that the company is proud to contribute to the country’s defence capability. ‘Our aviation operations and the needs of the SDF are closely aligned when it comes to fuel infrastructure. This donation allows us to translate that partnership into something tangible and lasting,’ the official said. The SDF welcomed the contribution and expressed confidence that the new tanks would improve both efficiency and safety in their day-to-day aviation operations.
