Ceps Appoints Tessa Henderson as New Chief Executive

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The board of the Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (Ceps) has announced the appointment of Tessa Henderson as its new chief executive, effective July 1, 2025. A press release issued by the board describes Ms Henderson as a highly accomplished communications and media professional with over two decades of experience spanning broadcasting, media policy development, civil society engagement, research, capacity building and strategic leadership.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Media Leadership from the University of Cumbria, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media with a specialisation in Radio Production from the University of Chester, UK. Beyond her professional achievements, Ms Henderson is recognised for her profound dedication to civil society, having been very active in various civil society organisations and volunteering her time to the greater needs of citizens. She has also previously served Ceps as the Membership and Communication Manager.
In her new role, Ms Henderson will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations and stakeholder engagement of Ceps. ‘The Board is confident that Ms Henderson’s leadership will significantly contribute to Ceps’ mission of fostering greater citizen engagement and promoting positive social change in Seychelles,’ the press release states. Her appointment comes as the platform prepares to expand its volunteer recognition and community engagement programmes in the year ahead.
