VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Ministry of Health has received a donation of medical supplies and equipment valued at US$300,000, in a handover ceremony that underscores the strong partnership between Seychelles and its international health partners. The donation was received by the Minister for Health in the presence of the Public Health Commissioner, Dr Jude Gedeon.
The donation includes a range of essential medical supplies and equipment that will be deployed across hospitals and health centres in Seychelles. The Ministry noted that the support will contribute to the delivery of quality healthcare to the population and to the strengthening of the country’s health system.
The Ministry of Health thanked the partners who contributed to the donation, noting that Seychelles continues to benefit from international cooperation in the health sector. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to working with partners to ensure that the country’s health system remains well-equipped to respond to the needs of all Seychellois.
