VICTORIA, Seychelles — The President of the Republic, Dr Patrick Herminie, together with the First Lady, Veronique Herminie, took part in the ‘Breakfast on Us’ initiative held on Sunday, an event organised to spread festive cheer and provide meaningful support to children in need during the holiday season.
The event was organised by Canopy by Hilton Seychelles in collaboration with the National Council for Children (NCC), as part of the ‘Give a Child a Gift’ campaign, which seeks to ensure that vulnerable children across the islands experience the joy of Christmas.
The Presidential couple joined children, families, and volunteers for the breakfast, and spent time engaging with the young guests, listening to their wishes, and offering words of encouragement ahead of the festive season.
Organisers said the event reflects the spirit of community that defines Seychelles at this time of year, and thanked all partners, donors, and volunteers for their contributions to making the campaign a success.
