Masons Travel and Constance Ephelia Win Top Honours at Lospitalite Awards
VICTORIA, Seychelles — The winners of the fourth Lospitalité Lafyerte Sesel awards were announced at a ceremony on Saturday afternoon at the Savoy Resort and Spa, with businesses across the tourism value chain receiving the locally-sculpted trophy designed by Joseph Norah. Mason’s Travel took the top prize in the Large Tour Operator category for the third time, while 7 Degrees South came second. In the Small Tour Operator category, Luxury Travel won first place, followed by MC Seychelles Travel & Tours and Silverpearl Tours & Travel.
Constance Ephelia Resort won the Large Hotel category for the third time, with Coco de Mer Hotel & Black Parrot Suites and Story Seychelles taking second and third places respectively. Le Duc De Praslin won the Medium Hotel category for the second time, followed by Carana Beach Hotel and Alphonse Island Lodge Ltd. In the Small Hotel category, La Cigale won for the third time, with Le Nautique Luxury Waterfront Hotel and Pirogue Lodge completing the top three. Treasure Villa repeated its win in the Self-Catering category, with Villa Pasyon and Granite Self Catering in second and third.
Chalet Bamboo Vert won the Guesthouse category. The Tour Guide category was won by SEY Island Tours, followed by Cocotier Tours and White Sands Adventures. The Restaurant/Bar/Café category saw Lo Brizan Restaurant and Gallery take first place. Mason’s Travel general manager, Lenny Alvis, attributed the company’s success to its staff, who he described as highly trained and highly motivated. Stephan Duchenn, general manager of Constance Ephelia, also dedicated the win to the hotel’s team, noting that consistency is the key to achieving repeated success.
