ISS Celebrates Diversity on International Festival Day

VICTORIA, Seychelles — International School Seychelles (ISS) came alive with vibrant colours, rich aromas and cultural pride as staff and students celebrated International Festival Day on February 14. The much-anticipated annual event showcased the school’s commitment to diversity, unity and global appreciation. Staff and children arrived dressed in traditional attire representing their home countries, proudly displaying their national flags and heritage.
The school grounds transformed into a cultural tapestry, with students and staff embracing the beauty of different traditions from around the world. In the afternoon, a special show performance was held, featuring music, dance and artistic displays from different cultures. A highlight of the event was the potluck feast, where staff brought homemade dishes from their respective countries, offering a delightful culinary journey for all.
