VICTORIA, Seychelles — The University of Seychelles (UniSey) has awarded a Doctor of Business Leadership degree, recognising the highest level of academic achievement in business education in the country. The conferment took place during a special ceremony attended by university leadership, faculty members, family, and distinguished guests from the public and private sectors.
The doctoral programme represents the culmination of years of rigorous research and study, focusing on leadership challenges and opportunities relevant to small island developing states. According to UniSey officials, the programme is designed to produce scholars and practitioners capable of driving organisational transformation and contributing to national development. The candidate’s research addressed key issues in business strategy and public policy.
According to the university, the Doctor of Business Leadership programme is one of the most demanding qualifications offered by UniSey, requiring original research, comprehensive examinations, and a defended dissertation.
