Certified Voter Register Sets Stage for 2026 Elections with 76,751 Registered

Chief registration officer Sheena Max officially certified the 2026 voters register by signing and stamping it yesterday, presenting the certified register to representatives of Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS), United Seychelles (US), One Seychelles, Mouvman Lavwa Seselwa, Laliberte and the Seychelles United Movement. The register comprises 76,751 registered voters, of which 37,079 are male. Anse Etoile remains the electoral area with the highest number of voters (4,182), while Roche Caïman has the lowest (2,090). Interestingly, St Louis electoral area registered 12 voters. The majority of voters are aged between 19 to 72 years.
