SRC Opens New Customer Service Office in Anse Royale for Southern Residents

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC) has officially opened its new customer service office in the Maison Royale building in Anse Royale, decentralising services and bringing tax-related assistance closer to residents in the southern region of Mahé. The office has been operational since December 23, 2025.

The expansion addresses a long-standing need to bring SRC services closer to taxpayers in the south, who previously had to travel significant distances to Providence or Victoria. The move is part of the Commission’s strategic plan to decentralise services and make access easier for taxpayers. The Maison Royale location offers adequate parking and improved queue management during peak tax payment periods.

The Anse Royale office will be open five days a week, from 8am to 4pm on weekdays, with cashiering services available until 2pm. It will cater to all domestic tax-related services including business registration, filing of returns and payments, provision of tax advice, and requests for tax clearance certificates, withholding tax, and income tax certificates.

Previously, SRC provided limited services to southern residents through twice-monthly outreach at the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) Customer Service Centre in Anse Royale, restricted to tax payments only. The permanent office now provides comprehensive services with two permanent officers available to assist taxpayers.

The new facility is expected to ease business processes and reduce constraints such as parking and long queues, particularly around monthly tax deadlines on the 21st of each month and the annual deadline of March 31, 2026. SRC is encouraging taxpayers to make full use of the new office to streamline their tax-related transactions.

The opening represents a significant improvement in public service delivery for southern Mahé residents.
