Club Med Nurtures Local Talent with Full-Day Job Roadshow in Victoria

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The buzz at Lansiv Café near the clock tower in Victoria last Friday was unmistakable. From early morning to late afternoon, young jobseekers streamed in to meet Club Med Seychelles recruiters, during a full-day job roadshow. The event drew candidates from all corners of Mahé, many of whom left with new opportunities in sight.

The initiative aimed to strengthen the resort’s pool of Seychellois talent while recognising the strong bilingual advantage of local applicants. For Club Med, the event is about building pathways for growth and discovery across its worldwide network. ‘Every time we meet new faces in Seychelles, we see energy and resilience,’ said Justine Giove, regional human resources director for Club Med Indian Ocean.

‘Our goal is to help Seychellois talents shine, both here and in other parts of the world. We believe the best way to grow the Club Med family is by investing in local potential.’ Since 2014, more than fifty Seychellois employees have already experienced international mobility within the group, with another twenty-five preparing to follow in their footsteps in 2025. For many, the idea of working in the Maldives, Europe, or the Caribbean no longer feels distant.

‘Mobility is part of who we are,’ she added. ‘A young person who starts with us in Seychelles can find themselves growing into leadership roles in another part of the world, and that experience comes back to strengthen the local team.’ The roadshow reflects Club Med’s long-term commitment to local talent development and international career mobility for Seychellois hospitality professionals.
