VICTORIA, Seychelles — President Wavel Ramkalawan will hold his second live press conference for the year 2025 with local media outlets and journalists tomorrow, Thursday June 5, 2025, at 5.30pm. The press conference will be broadcast live on SBC Television and Telesesel, and streamed on YouTube.
The press conference comes as the country approaches the September 27 presidential and legislative elections, and is expected to cover a wide range of issues, including the state of the economy, the progress of major infrastructure projects, and the government’s plans for the second half of the year. The President is also expected to take questions from journalists on issues of public interest.
This will be the second live press conference of the year, following the first which was held earlier in 2025. Members of the public are invited to submit their questions in advance through the State House social media channels and the State House website. The full programme of the press conference, including the list of journalists who will be asking questions, will be released by State House in due course.
