VICTORIA, Seychelles — As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing customer convenience and modernising its banking infrastructure, Absa Bank Seychelles yesterday launched the country’s first Bulk Deposit Machine, once again setting the standard for innovation. The Bulk Deposit Machine is available to customers since yesterday, Monday April 28, 2025, and is located next to the SME centre at Capital City, ground floor. This new addition is the latest in a series of strategic investments by Absa Seychelles aimed at improving access to secure, fast, and digitally empowered services.
The Bulk Deposit Machine allows Absa customers to deposit up to 200 notes per transaction, with the option for unlimited deposits throughout the day. Whether using a bank card or going cardless with an account number, mobile number, and reason for deposit, this innovation offers greater flexibility and ease for businesses and individuals alike. Key features include accepting local currency only, quicker and seamless deposit, and operating Monday to Sunday, 24/7, with instant credit to Absa bank accounts. The service is available exclusively to Absa and non-Absa customers who want to make a deposit into an Absa account.
Over the past year, Absa has replaced its entire fleet of 16 ATMs across Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, of which 10 are equipped with advanced deposit technology that provides instant credit to Absa accounts. ‘At Absa, we are committed to delivering banking experiences that put the customer first.
