VICTORIA, Seychelles — Liv Beauty Academy marked its third anniversary on March 12, 2025, celebrating a journey of transformation, success, and global recognition. Founded by Stephanie Olivia Duval, LBA has been dedicated to refining talents through specialised training in image consulting, beauty pageantry and modelling coaching. With an emphasis on precision and excellence, Ms Duval applies her background in sports management to her beauty venture, fostering a culture of high performance and dedication to success.
LBA’s impact has reached beyond Seychelles, making significant strides in international beauty pageantry. Liza Gundowry from Mauritius achieved an impressive Top 12 placement at the prestigious Miss World 2024 pageant. Her success on the global stage was the result of guidance from multiple organisations and individuals, including LBA, which played a role in her preparation. ‘Liv Beauty Academy has been an invaluable part of my pageant journey. In 2022, Ms Duval brought her expertise to Mauritius, where she was responsible for training the Indian Ocean contestants (Seychelles, Mauritius, Rodrigues, and La Reunion) ahead of their participation in the Miss Environment International pageant. A testament to this excellence is Elsia Françoise, who made Seychelles proud by being placed in the Top 10 at the Miss Environment International 2022 competition in Delhi, India. In 2023, Shannen Henrie represented Seychelles at Miss Intercontinental, adding another milestone to LBA’s growing list of global successes. The academy’s influence continues into 2025 with Sylvie Rose, who competed at the Miss Intercontinental 2024 pageant under Ms Duval’s expert guidance.
