Local Artist Taniah Lights Up Music Stadium with ‘Vokalis’ Album Concert

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Music Stadium in Victoria was bright on Saturday where fans and friends gathered to support local female artist Taniah during her concert, with entertaining performances by local artists Mercenary, Keartsea, Richie B, Champion, Pusso, Isis and Isham Rath, Swagg Tunes, Elijah and Juliah.
Throughout the night, Taniah performed some of the hottest hits from her ‘Vokalis’ album, including ‘Douler Lanmour’, ‘Boycott’ and ‘Pa kit mwan tousel’, the last of which was performed alongside Isham Rath. The audience was particularly energised by two songs — ‘Daka’, performed in collaboration with Pusso, and ‘Nepli Parey’, presented alongside Mauritian artist Sebby. Taniah’s manager and partner, Joel Decommarmond, expressed his gratitude towards the public who came out in support of her.
‘I really was not expecting this big turnout. The VIP tickets have completely been sold out, and the standard tickets have also experienced significant sales, resulting in approximately three-quarters of the stadium being filled,’ Mr Decommarmond said. He noted that they tried taking a different approach in terms of stage decor and the type of music that Taniah was performing. ‘The planning of the show started when we launched the album. We had to go door-knocking to acquire sponsors to fund the local artists which was one difficulty we went through. However, there were ongoing sponsors who stuck by us and supported us through this whole planning of the show who helped in making this show become a reality,’ he added.
