Nisa Sells Locally-Made Exercise Books at Market Street Stand Ahead of School Year

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The National Information Services Agency (Nisa) has set up a stand on Market Street to sell locally-made exercise books to parents preparing for the new school year. The stand, which opened on Saturday, has been attracting parents and students with its range of quality products.

Nisa’s stand offers an alternative for parents who do not wish to venture into the central business district to shop for stationery. The locally-produced exercise books are priced competitively, and the company is also making the items available at its office on Grandcourt Road, opposite the Amusement Centre, for parents who prefer to shop out of town.

The initiative is part of Nisa’s broader effort to support local manufacturing and to make affordable school supplies available to families. With the school year set to begin on 20 January, demand for exercise books, pencils and other stationery is expected to peak in the final days before classes resume.

The stand on Market Street will remain in place during the back-to-school period, with Nisa staff on hand to assist parents and to take orders for schools and other institutions. The exercise books are also available for delivery to offices and schools on request.
