IndiGo Flight Diverted to Seychelles Following Report of Unruly Passenger Onboard
VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Seychelles Airports Authority confirmed that IndiGo flight 1862, operating from Mauritius to Bengaluru, was diverted to Seychelles yesterday following reports of an unruly passenger and her companion onboard.
Following the aircraft’s arrival, response protocols were immediately activated. Health officials, Aviation Security personnel, and police officers boarded the aircraft, and the passengers were safely escorted off and handed over to the relevant authorities.
