LDS Expresses Condolences After Passing of Hon. Charles de Commarmond
VICTORIA, Seychelles — The leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Hon. Bernard Georges, on behalf of the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) caucus and party leader, former President Wavel Ramkalawan, has expressed sorrow at the news of the passing of former MNA Hon. Charles de Commarmond.
In a press release issued on Saturday, Hon. Georges stated that Hon. de Commarmond was a long-serving member of the National Assembly and a respected colleague across the aisle. ‘He will be remembered for his easy manner and friendly disposition to members on both sides of the house,’ the communique read, underscoring the spirit of cross-party respect that the late legislator enjoyed throughout his career.
