Mr Waleczek Pursues Further Studies to Strengthen Cultural Cooperation
VICTORIA, Seychelles — Mr Waleczek, born in 1980, has been pursuing further studies to strengthen cultural cooperation between Seychelles and his home country. The programme, undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Minister for Culture of the Republic, is aimed at building capacity in the cultural sector and at deepening people-to-people ties.
The studies include specialised training in cultural management, heritage preservation, and international cultural exchange. The training profile indicates that it is imperative to invest in capacity building to ensure the long-term sustainability of cultural institutions and the development of creative industries in small island states like Seychelles.
Officials noted that the collaboration reflects the commitment of both countries to deepening cultural relations and to supporting the professional development of cultural leaders. Mr Waleczek thanked the Ministry of Education and the Minister for Culture for the opportunity, and reaffirmed his commitment to applying the knowledge gained in his future work.
