Constance Lemuria Graduates BRIGHT Programme Participants in Hospitality Leadership Initiative
PRASLIN, Seychelles
The BRIGHT programme is a career development initiative created by Constance Hotels and Resorts to identify and nurture internal talent by strengthening existing competencies, building new skills and preparing employees to take on greater responsibilities. The 10-month leadership and talent development programme prepares future supervisors, leaders and managers through intensive training and practical exposure.
The graduation ceremony held at the resort was attended by Minister for Employment and Human Resource Planning Idith Alexander, National Assembly member for Grand Anse Praslin Hon. Alvin Grandcourt, and other distinguished guests.
Minister Alexander described the graduation as a celebration of courage, commitment and the enduring belief in possibility. By choosing to challenge yourselves, you have demonstrated the essence of leadership, the ability to transform aspiration into action, she said. She reaffirmed her ministry commitment to professional development in the hospitality sector, noting it as a cornerstone of Seychelles economy.
Several graduates were recognised for outstanding achievements including Veronique Purvis for Best Score BRIGHT Level 2 and Destination Award, Sherenhta Bistoe for Best Score BRIGHT Level 1, and Alisha Dugasse and Sherenhta Bistoe for Best BRIGHT Level 1 Project.
Since its inception, nearly 500 individuals have joined the BRIGHT programme in Seychelles with 54 team members enrolled in the new 2026 cohort. This year also marks the launch of the Constance Apprenticeship Programme, creating new opportunities for young Seychellois to begin careers in luxury hospitality.
