Tourism Seychelles Hosts Bahrain Travel Trade Networking Event

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Tourism Seychelles Middle East Office successfully held a targeted Travel Trade Networking Event on May 29, 2025, at the Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, bringing together 25 key attendees, including travel trade professionals and media representatives from TTN Middle East, as part of Tourism Seychelles’ continued engagement with the Bahraini market. The evening provided a valuable platform for open discussions on market developments, evolving travel trends, and upcoming opportunities to promote Seychelles as an attractive and accessible destination for Bahraini travellers.

The Bahrain roadshow comes as Seychelles continues to position itself as a premium year-round destination for Gulf travellers, particularly during the Eid and summer travel period. Bahrain has historically been one of the more resilient Gulf source markets, with strong repeat visitation and a high proportion of family and honeymoon travellers. The event was designed to deepen ties with key travel agents and media in the country, and to update them on the latest tourism offerings in Seychelles.

Tourism Seychelles said the response from the Bahraini travel trade was positive, with agents showing particular interest in new product offerings, including small hotels and guesthouses, eco-tourism experiences, and the growing range of wellness retreats. The office is expected to follow up with a series of training sessions and joint marketing activities over the coming months. Tourism Seychelles also thanked its partners in Bahrain for their support, and reiterated its commitment to growing arrivals from the Gulf region as part of its broader market diversification strategy.
