VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Seychelles Investment Board (SIB) yesterday hosted a Women’s Day Forum at the Eden Bleu Hotel to celebrate the achievements of women in the finance and investment sectors. The half-day session, held under the theme ‘Women leading the future of investment’, created a platform for trailblazing women to share their insights, outline the significance of their roles, and engage in a forward-thinking dialogue about the future of investment in Seychelles.
Delegates and guests gathered to honour the contributions of women who continue to break barriers in sectors long considered male-dominated. Speakers shared personal career journeys, highlighting both the challenges faced and the opportunities created by deliberate action to advance gender equity in financial services and investment decision-making.
The forum forms part of SIB’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive economic growth and to encourage greater participation of women in the country’s financial and investment landscape.
