The programme included panel discussions, workshops, performances, and exhibitions featuring artists from across the islands and the wider Indian Ocean region. According to the Centre’s director, the conference aims to strengthen the creative ecosystem by fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation, and building audiences for the arts. The event also served as a launchpad for new initiatives aimed at supporting emerging artists.

Participants explored ways to strengthen the infrastructure that supports artists, including studio spaces, funding mechanisms, and professional development opportunities. The conference also highlighted the contribution of the arts to social cohesion and national identity.

The Centre for Arts has called for continued investment in the creative sector, noting that arts and culture play a vital role in education, tourism, and community development.
