VICTORIA, Seychelles — The chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Wendy Didon, has presented the findings of the 2025 election report, in a meeting that brought together commissioners Patrick Hoareau, Jenny Adrienne, and other senior officials. The presentation, which was held at the National Assembly precinct, provided an overview of the conduct of the elections and the lessons learned.
Ms Didon was accompanied by the Commission team in discussion with Speaker Roger Mancienne, who commended the Commission for the comprehensive nature of the report. The Speaker noted the significance of the reports and the findings, and reaffirmed the National Assembly’s commitment to working with the Commission to strengthen the country’s electoral system.
The Electoral Commission team in discussion with Speaker Ernesta reflected on the importance of the report and the work that lies ahead. The Commission expressed its commitment to addressing the recommendations of the report, and to working with all stakeholders to ensure that future elections are even more inclusive, transparent, and credible.
