VICTORIA, Seychelles — Anne Savy, the district administrator for Anse Boileau, has shared that she has been in the role for the past 14 months, and credits teamwork for the district’s three awards at the Ministry of Local Government and Inner Islands end-of-year ceremony. The district won the Best Overall District Administration Office, the Outstanding District Administration Customer Care Award, and the Excellence in Initiative Development Award.
‘For me, success comes from teamwork. We have a total of eight staff members, and we always consult one another. I have a background in customer service, which helps me in my work and allows me to listen attentively to the residents of Anse Boileau. There are various clubs in the district, and we currently have several small projects ongoing. In 2026, we want to do more,’ she shared.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of three staff members who successfully completed a Commonwealth Executive Master in Public Administration. Certificates of recognition were presented to Murielle Marie, director general for Public Affairs, Quality Assurance and Monitoring; Sabrina Assary, district administrator for Au Cap; and Tahiri Figaro, district administrator for Beau Vallon.
