VICTORIA, Seychelles — Following the Presidential Elections on October 11, 2025, Veronique Herminie has assumed the role of First Lady of the Republic of Seychelles, marking a new chapter in the life of the country’s First Family. Known for her commitment to integrity and excellence, the First Lady is dedicated to promoting the welfare of Seychellois families, with a focus on education, culture, and community development.
In her early engagements, First Lady Herminie has signalled her intention to use her position to support national priorities, including the promotion of arts and culture, the empowerment of women and young people, and the strengthening of family values. Her office is expected to work closely with relevant ministries and civil society partners to deliver on these priorities.
