Tourism Seychelles Builds Regional Momentum with Roadshow in Reunion and Mauritius

VICTORIA, Seychelles — Tourism Seychelles, together with leading island trade partners, has successfully concluded a roadshow in Réunion and Mauritius, building on regional momentum in the Indian Ocean tourism market.

The events brought together destination management companies, tour operators and travel agents in both markets, providing a platform to present Seychelles’s 2025-2026 product offering, including new airline capacity, accommodation updates and experiences across the inner and outer islands. Partners used the occasion to renew commercial relationships and to explore new packages for the upcoming high season.

Tourism Seychelles said the roadshow reflects the organisation’s strategy of working more closely with neighbouring source markets, where the destination is increasingly well known. Both Réunion and Mauritius continue to send meaningful numbers of visitors to the islands, and the meetings provided an opportunity to reinforce trade ties and identify joint marketing opportunities.

Officials said the momentum from the roadshow will be carried into the European market over the coming months, with a series of events planned in key cities ahead of the main winter season. Tourism Seychelles thanked the trade partners who participated in the roadshow and reaffirmed its commitment to working with the regional industry to grow arrivals sustainably.
