VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Seychelles United Movement (SUM) political party has launched its 2025 election manifesto at a brief ceremony at Francis House yesterday. Party leader and presidential candidate Maarco Francis said the presentation is more than just a launch of a manifesto but a statement of the party’s main policy priorities.
Mr Francis said the party’s main priorities are economic prosperity, reforms, and security. He added that the SUM will not align itself with any other party in the elections. The party believes its manifesto is ‘unique’ and offers Seychellois voters a fresh option focused on national unity and good governance.
Mr Francis and his team presented the key policy areas, including strategies to boost the economy, improve public services, and strengthen the rule of law. The launch is the latest in a series of manifesto events by political parties as Seychelles prepares for Presidential and National Assembly elections in September 2025.
