The programme is designed not only to strengthen subject knowledge but also to develop participants into professional trainers capable of delivering structured and impactful instruction within their organisations. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime delivers Training of Trainers programmes across key areas such as maritime security, law enforcement, counter-terrorism and criminal justice, all directly aligned with the operational responsibilities of the Marine Police Unit. The training emphasises a practical and interactive approach, incorporating scenario-based exercises, simulations, role play and real-life case studies.

During the course, both officers underwent intensive training and successfully completed the programme. They are now recognised as certified trainers, capable of delivering specialised sessions to fellow officers and contributing to the professional development of personnel within the force.
