VICTORIA, Seychelles — Business coach and entrepreneur Claude Bonte is once again bringing together Seychelles’ business community for the second ‘Movers and Shakers Roadshow’, set to take place on November 20 and 21 at the Eden Bleu Hotel. The two-day event, held as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, will focus on human resources development on the first day and business growth and entrepreneurship on the second, giving local business owners, managers, and aspiring entrepreneurs the tools and inspiration they need to succeed.
Mr Bonte, who also produces the ‘Movers and Shakers’ television series, said the seminar is designed to take the lessons from the screen to the stage. ‘The idea is that people see these entrepreneurs on TV, but now they’ll get the chance to meet them in person and hear their real stories,’ he explained. Among those featured this year is Helga Hoareau of Poppy’s Cafe, one of the twelve business owners to appear in ‘Movers and Shakers’ season two, airing this Tuesday evening on SBC.
Also joining the line-up are Marcus Cauchi, an experienced London-based recruiter and coach; Eleanor Schaffenberg, who has helped to build the success of The Boardwalk and Diamond Works; British entrepreneur and best-selling author Mike Southon; and renowned UK hypnotherapist Marcus D’Silva. Unlike a typical conference, both days of the seminar are designed as interactive workshops, with participants given exercises to think differently about how they lead, manage, and grow.
