VICTORIA, Seychelles — As Cable and Wireless Seychelles (CWS) celebrates its 132nd anniversary on November 11, the nation’s first telecommunications and only quad-play provider has unveiled Multiview, a groundbreaking addition to its IPTV service designed to provide more flexibility to households and more value to cable TV customers.
Marking more than a century of connection, innovation, and leadership, the milestone coincides with the launch of a product that meets the evolving needs of modern families. Multiview allows existing cable TV customers to enjoy the Primetime channels on two separate televisions within the same home, each having full control over what they watch. Residential customers subscribed to the Primetime TV package (R775) can now add a second full Primetime package to their account at the reduced rate of R495 per month, inclusive of a set-top box.
‘At Cable and Wireless Seychelles, we have and will always believe in evolving with our customers,’ said Sheldon Brioche, the PR executive of the company. ‘As we celebrate 132 years of connecting Seychelles, the launch of Multiview reflects that same pioneering spirit that has guided us since 1893.’ Multiview operates through the same household network, so installation is quick and fully supported by CWS’ professional field teams.
To mark the anniversary and Multiview launch, CWS will roll out a nationwide marketing campaign across radio, newspapers, and social media. Over a two-week period, customers and the public can take part in daily quizzes with prizes, and those who subscribe to Multiview within the initial period will be entered into a special anniversary prize draw to win a 55-inch Smart TV as the first prize and a one-year Multiview subscription as the second prize. ‘We’ve been connecting Seychelles for over a century, and we’re just getting started,’ Mr Brioche added.
