VICTORIA, Seychelles — Tourism Seychelles has strengthened its ties across Asia Pacific’s luxury travel trade by participating in the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Asia Pacific 2025, held in Singapore from June 30 to July 3. The annual event is a premier gathering of global luxury buyers and suppliers.
This year’s ILTM saw a 12 per cent rise in participation, bringing together more than 740 buyers from 22 countries. Representing Tourism Seychelles, Amia Jovanovic-Desir, manager for the Southeast Asia and Australasia markets, led a 4.5 square-metre exhibition stand styled with a beach backdrop that captured the essence of the Seychelles destination. The participation provided an opportunity to introduce Seychelles to new tour operators from Australia and Southeast Asia, while reconnecting with existing partners.
Feedback from agents at ILTM was highly encouraging, with several expressing keen interest in organising familiarisation trips to experience the destination first-hand. Markets such as China, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong revealed a growing appetite for meaningful, wellness-focused experiences. Agents also noted strong demand for adventure, nature exploration, cruise and yachting, and wellness packages, all of which align seamlessly with what Seychelles has to offer.
