WOSITA and Danny Faure Foundation Sign Landmark Partnership Agreement

VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES – A significant step toward enhanced social and environmental collaboration was taken as the Women of Seychelles In Transformative Action (WOSITA) Foundation and the Danny Faure Foundation officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement was formalised on March 17, 2026 in a signing ceremony attended by leadership from both organisations. First Lady Mrs. Veronique Herminie, in her capacity as the Chairperson of (WOSITA) Foundation, signed on behalf of the association, while Former President Danny Faure, Chairperson and Founder of the Danny Faure Foundation, signed on behalf of the Foundation

The newly established MoU serves as a strategic framework designed to streamline cooperation between the two entities. By leveraging their respective expertise, WOSITA Foundation and the Danny Faure Foundation aim to develop and implement programmes that address key societal challenges.

The collaboration will focus on:

Project Alignment: Identifying and executing joint initiatives that fall within the overlapping mission goals of both organisations.

Resource Sharing: Sharing knowledge, networks, and expertise to amplify the reach of community-based projects.

Synergetic Action: Strengthening the impact of programs related to sustainable development, empowerment, and social well-being.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Veronique Herminie highlighted that the partnership represents a “union of shared values,” emphasising WOSITA’s commitment to solidarity and action.

Former President Danny Faure emphasised that his Foundation is committed to working alongside the WOSITA Foundation to foster a more resilient and empowered society, highlighting that collaboration is the cornerstone for achieving meaningful and lasting progress. “Where others turned away, WOSITA remained to see, to hear and to feel,” he noted.

The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks the start of a formal partnership, with both organisations expected to announce a series of joint initiatives in the coming months.

Women of Seychelles In Transformative Action (WOSITA) Foundation is dedicated to fostering empowerment and social support through collaborative action and community-focused initiatives.

The Danny Faure Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by Former President Danny Faure, focusing on pillars such as the blue economy, ocean, good governance, leadership and gender, and youth.
