Soroptimist International Club of Victoria Celebrates 30th Anniversary in Seychelles

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The Soroptimist International Club of Victoria has marked its 30th anniversary with a prize-giving ceremony for the winners of its special lottery, held at Espace Café, celebrating three decades of commitment, generosity, and community partnership in Seychelles. The Soroptimist International Club of Victoria anniversary celebration saw 30 lucky participants receive prizes in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to projects uplifting women and girls.

The anniversary lottery served as a fundraising initiative, mobilising corporate partners, community members, and volunteers to promote education, health, empowerment, and social justice. The proceeds from the lottery will fund ongoing and upcoming projects aligned with Soroptimist International’s global objectives and the club’s local goals, including women’s health initiatives and community development programmes.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement with members from over 120 countries and territories worldwide, working to transform the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and enabling access to opportunities. The Victoria club has been at the forefront of this mission in Seychelles for three decades, supporting local projects that address gender equality and community well-being.
