VICTORIA, Seychelles — Patient Solidarity Seychelles and the Ministry of Health have brought the magic of Christmas to children at the children’s ward of the Seychelles Hospital, in a special gift-giving ceremony that marked the culmination of a heartwarming festive season campaign. The event was hosted at the ward, where young patients received toys and gifts to brighten their stay.
Over the two weekends before Christmas, shoppers from across the country donated gifts and toys to the campaign, demonstrating an outpouring of generosity from the public. ‘We want to take the opportunity to thank the public for their generosity,’ said Dr Cynthia Noshir of Patient Solidarity, who noted that the donations have made a real difference to the lives of young patients and their families.
During the ceremony, Patient Solidarity volunteers handed out the gifts to the children, in a colourful event that brought smiles to the faces of patients, families, and staff. The Ministry of Health and Patient Solidarity Seychelles thanked the public, the volunteers, and the hospital team for their support, and reaffirmed their commitment to bringing comfort and joy to young patients at the hospital.
