Medical Professionals Discuss Technology and Innovation in Seychelles Healthcare

VICTORIA, Seychelles — Health professionals from the public and private sectors have gathered to discuss the role of technology and innovation in shaping the future of healthcare in Seychelles. The event, themed ‘Future-ready health care in Seychelles’, was addressed by the appointed Minister for Health, Dr Danny Louange, alongside senior medical professionals and partners.

Discussions at the event focused on the use of digital tools, telemedicine, electronic health records, and other innovations to improve the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of healthcare delivery. Participants shared experiences and best practice, and identified opportunities for collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Health officials noted that the engagement was an opportunity to build a common understanding of the way forward for healthcare in Seychelles. The Ministry of Health reaffirmed its commitment to working with all stakeholders to ensure that the country’s health system is modern, resilient, and ready to meet the challenges of the future.
