VICTORIA, Seychelles — Minister for Education, Dr Justin Valentin, has visited two private institutions as part of his ongoing engagement with education providers across the country. The visit, conducted under the theme ‘Every Profession Starts with a Teacher’, provided an opportunity for the Minister to interact with students, teachers, and school leaders.
In an interview with the media, Minister Valentin said the visit motivated him to establish a closer collaboration between the teachers of both state and private schools. He noted that the performance of both schools is strong, but that there are certain elements that could be addressed jointly to improve the quality of education.
The schools welcomed the visit and expressed their commitment to working with the Ministry of Education to deliver high-quality education to all learners. The Ministry said it will continue to engage with private schools to ensure that the education system is inclusive, modern, and responsive to the needs of all Seychellois students.
