AMSA Donates R500,000 Towards the New Seychelles Hospital Fund

VICTORIA, Seychelles — The AMSA group has made a generous donation of R500,000 towards the New Seychelles Hospital Fund. It was the President and Founder of the AMSA group, Abdulla Ajmal, who handed the cheque to Seychelles’ Vice-President, Ahmed Afif, in a short ceremony at State House yesterday afternoon. This second donation by AMSA forms part of an R8 million pledge, with eight more contributions still to come.

The New Seychelles Hospital Fund was set up to support the construction of a new national hospital, which is expected to provide modern, world-class medical care to Seychellois for generations to come. The fund has been receiving contributions from the private sector and members of the public, and government officials have expressed gratitude for the continued support shown by corporate partners.

Speaking at the handover, Vice-President Afif thanked the AMSA group for its continued generosity and for honouring its pledge to the fund, noting that such contributions are vital in helping the country achieve its goal of building a new hospital that meets the growing healthcare needs of the population. The handover was attended by senior officials of State House and representatives of the AMSA group.
