VICTORIA, Seychelles — President Wavel Ramkalawan will lead the Seychelles delegation at the World Governments Summit 2025, set to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He will be accompanied by cabinet ministers and participants in the UAE Executive Leadership Training Programme, who will contribute to discussions on governance, innovation and sustainable development.
During the mission, the President will hold bilateral talks with international counterparts, attend the Summit in Action Forum, and deliver a keynote address at the SDGs in Action Forum, reaffirming Seychelles’ commitment to achieving the sustainable development goals. The World Governments Summit serves as a global platform for leaders to exchange insights on effective governance, technology and sustainability.
Seychelles’ participation underscores its dedication to fostering international collaboration and advancing policies that drive national and global progress. During the President’s absence, his duties and responsibilities will be discharged by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.
